How do the audio and haptic charts work?

Drag a finger across any chart. The pitch of the tone follows the price — higher price, higher sound — and you feel a tap as your finger crosses each trading day, with a stronger tap at the highest and lowest points. Rest your finger on a point and the app speaks the date and price. It works with VoiceOver on or off.

Does it work with VoiceOver?

Yes — every screen, start to finish. Charts also publish Apple's native audio graph, so VoiceOver's own chart gestures work too. If you find a screen that doesn't work well with VoiceOver, email us; that is a bug and we treat it as one.

What's free, and what needs a subscription?

Following up to three symbols with full audio and haptic charts is free forever. Sonic Stocks Pro adds an unlimited watchlist, the daily audio briefing, plain-English chart explanations, and the ability to ask questions about investing.

How current are the prices?

Charts and briefings are built from end-of-day market data, which may be delayed by 24 hours or more. Sonic Stocks is a comprehension tool, not a live trading terminal — see the terms below.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple and managed by iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sonic Stocks, or in the App Store app under your profile. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

On the subscription screen, choose Restore purchases while signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. Apple normally responds within 48 hours.

Something isn't working — no sound, no haptics, a chart won't load

Check your ring/silent switch and volume for sound, and Settings → Sounds & Haptics for vibration. Some older iPhones don't support the haptic engine — the app will tell you and fall back to audio. If a chart won't load, check your connection and try again; if it persists, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.

By using Sonic Stocks you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

• Not financial advice. Sonic Stocks provides information and education about markets: charts you can hear and feel, plain-English descriptions, and answers to general questions. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice; it does not give trading signals, recommendations, or suggestions to buy or sell anything. Any investment decision is yours alone, and you should consider advice from an authorised financial adviser before making one.
• Data accuracy. Market data is provided by third-party sources on an end-of-day basis and may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally wrong. AI-generated explanations are built from that data and may contain errors. Do not rely on the app as your sole source for any financial decision.
• Subscriptions. Sonic Stocks Pro is available as a weekly subscription (£9.99/week) or a 6-month subscription (£49.99 per 6 months, with a 7-day free trial). Prices in other regions are shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Unused free-trial time is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Fair use. Explanations and questions are subject to generous usage limits shown in the app. We will always tell you when you are near a limit rather than failing silently.
• Acceptable use. Don't attempt to scrape, redistribute, or resell market data or generated content from the app; the data licences that make the app possible don't permit it.
• Availability. We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
• Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Accessible Resources Ltd is not liable for investment losses or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
• Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
